The first month with a new agency sets the tone for the whole relationship. Here is what it should include, whoever you hire.
Week one: listening
A good agency asks for store data, margins and past tests before touching anything. If they change campaigns in the first two days, they are guessing.
Weeks two and three: cleaning up
Fix tracking, cut waste and set clear targets you both agree on. Results may dip slightly while this happens.
Week four: the first real tests
New creative and offers go live with a plan for how they will be judged and when.
By day 30 you should know what changed, why, and what happens next. If you do not, ask.
Free ad audit
See where your ad budget is leaking.
A strategist reviews your ad accounts before the call, so the 45 minutes are spent on your numbers.
